Fun at the beach

A very beach-oriented day today . . . .

Firstly, at Rabbit Island for J's birthday brunch beach bash - pancakes, fruit, fun, friends and even a little driftwood collection for M. Great to see she's entering into the garden art!

Headed in to town for a couple of chores then afterwards, headed to the back beach where plenty of kiteboarders were out doing their thing.

This dog seemed to want to join in their fun and he was hilarious to watch! As a k-boarder approached the beach he'd sprint along the water's edge to try to get as close to them as he could. A few times he even got into the water and tried to swim out with the k-boarder. When they'd left on their next run he'd get out of the water, run around a bit and wait for the next k-boarder to approach - then he'd start all over again. The k-boarders were incredibly good with him even though he must have been a pain to have to navigate around.

Good fun :)

The camper van I had my eye on isn't looking good. The sellers asking price and my initial offer are too far apart and I can't see the gap narrowing. Bck to the drawing board.
