Have you ever noticed...

...how young the bar staff seem to be these days? A sure sign of old age when you start to notice these things.

In this case, however, there is no need for alarm. This is my friend's daughter who was helping out at her mum's 40th birthday party by pulling pints. I had a fab evening. My friend is the wife of a colleague, so lots of my friends from work were there to party too. I'm lucky that my colleagues and I get on really well and are good friends out of work too. Never worked in a school like that before!

The food was awesome and the music too. Lots of 80s vintage and modern indie. A band played, and the singer looked alarmingly like Ben from LOST. I took a sneaky pic.

Earlier in the day, Grace went to her first ever party as her good friend Gabrielle turned one this week :)
