Waterfoot Sunrise

Gloom

With a forecast for more cold, wet and very windy weather over the next few days, everyone I met today seemed to be in the same rather gloomy mood. Maybe there is some kind of post Christmas syndrome that adds to peoples woes at this time of year? Whatever, there weren't a lot of cheery faces about!

If this is to be an accurate photographic journal then it must reflect the various moods of an area, its people and weather. So today's blip is aimed at reflecting that mood. The shot is of Naomi's Walk, which has featured a couple of times before, with Carradale Bay in the distance. The field in the foreground has been flooded to a greater or lesser extent for at least the last 4 months.

I had hoped to catch a good sunrise from this location, with the trees and sun reflected in the flooded area, but the weather just isn't playing ball. Just have to keep it for another day!
