return of the light

it's amazing how quickly the light returns once the winter solstice is over. It's not just all in my imagination either, it happens much quicker here than I remember it happening up there in the Frozen North. Swiss winters might well last about 300 years and be too cold for my feeble Gulf Stream body and we may not get any midnight sun in summer but we do get a bit more light in winter and a bit more heat in summer. Y'know, I'm getting used to this place ;-)
