The beauty of youth

It's been a dark, wet, gloomy day. I stayed indoors and worked on the Haltwhistle Walking Festival programme ready for the web. (Don't look yet; I'll tell you when booking opens.)

It was a great pleasure to have a break this afternoon because we were visited by C and her brother S. They are staying with their grandparents next door. We enjoy their company whenever they come. They acquiesed to being photographed for my blip - probably thought that the old lady needed humouring!! No, they are too delightful for that.

The one of both of them is not as good as this of C on her own. Mono allows you to see her features clearly and I've made a crop to try to concentrate the viewers' eyes on her eyes.
