Aulax cancellata #4

Remember this one....

The centre has now opened and looks just like this. The background was already soft and slightly blurred so had a little play in photoshop just to simply have some fun.

Our day is dull and wet but Mum's Aulax cancellata looks beautiful with its golden colours mingled with the greens and reds as it sits out of the rain on her deck. Summer rain is good for the garden, gently soaking in, seeking the dry areas but we are lucky not to have the torrential rain that many other areas in New Zealand are currently having.

A quiet day for a Friday, mostly home. The aroma of beef casserole is drifting through the house as I type, comfort food today.

The weekend is here and New Years Eve is just about upon us - have a great weekend everyone :)
