Happy New Year!

The koru shape is linked to the New Zealand fern plant. The shoot of the fern unfurls and becomes a fernleaf.

The koru reaches towards the light, striving for perfection, encouraging new postive beginnings.

The koru represents renewal and hope for the future.

May 2012 be a new beginning, full of hope, less or no earthquakes would be great for my fellow cantabrians. May it bring happiness to you all.
