Friday: Loftiness

Have spent much of the morning in the loft bringing boxes down for when our baggage is assessed for our move in the next few weeks.  Apparently, the man with the clipboard won't go in the loft for health and safety reasons so we are now starting to live surrounded by boxes.......

Much of the stuff up there is still in the same boxes it was in when it came back from China four years ago.  It does beg the question whether these are things we need but I think I am successfully managing to justify keeping them!

Other successful things achieved today:

- New hob installed;
- Spare tyre collected as we are not driving across Europe without a spare tyre.  No Sirree!
- Hotel accommodation booked for some of the journey;
- Eurotunnel booked.......

Mind you, it is all still two months away but what's done, is done!
