Saturday: Little Venice

We took K.'s mum out for a little drive this morning, and, given that it is Saturday, we managed to avoid the congestion charge.  Always a bonus!

We drove to Regent's Park first and took a little turn around the boating pond.  From there, we went to Little Venice and had a short walk along the canals.

Later this evening, we will be going to our friend, T.'s, to see in the New Year with all our friends who live locally.  Should be a most jolly evening.  We are all at pains to tell each other that we are too old for parties and that this is to be classed as a soiree instead.  I will be taking my slippers with me.
