The Catch

Easing into Barrier time, meaning, nothing happens very fast. 11 adults and 6 kids, there's a certain amount of inertia that is required to get movement.

The weather is looking a bit dodgy for the next few days, so today was the day to get out and about. Lots of work done around the house and bay, and then a big fishing expedition was launched again in the afternoon. A few snapper came home. Phil went spear fishing and caught a great little kingfish, well, around 8KG. Made the yummiest sashimi as well as shallow fried along with some fresh rock oyster fritters.

One thing about our time at the Barrier, always great food and fresh food. Fresh fish, oysters, scallops and crayfish.
