A Doggy Morning

Firstly, apologies for the quality of the photo but that would be my Edwardian/Steampunk phone....a vintage piece made from the latest in quality Bakerlite. However, I did think this shot of our canine compatriots lying on the sofa (and my Duffle coat) by the Christmas tree an appropriate illustration of today's proceedings. Abbie,the ancient looking one in the foreground spent the morning at the vets with a rather nasty cough. Kennel cough apparently....and hopefully £54 worth of drugs will do the trick. Wilf, the one at the back taking liberties with my Duffle coat well, he stinks. He's the smelliest dog this side of the Tamar and now has an afternoon appointment with some Dog Shampoo. Failing that, we do have a back up appointment with the Jetwash at our local garage.

Anyway, hopefully tonight will be dog free and will involve at least some alcohol...Happy New Year Folks.
