Visiting the in-laws

Yesterday and today we visited my in-laws in Gloucester.
We travelled from Warwickshire yesterday (after visiting my family) and stayed overnight. Then we popped in again this morning with some provisions for them from the local Tesco, before driving home.

This is the view of the entrance to the sheltered accommodation 'apartment' my in-laws have been living for nearly a year now. They moved from their bungalow into Hamlet Lodge, in January. It is a new building, very nicely done out with a residents lounge, etc. and they are enjoying living there, especially as they are both in their 80s and couldn't manage the garden any more. My father-in-law still insisted on planting his potatoes, vegs and fruit in the garden as he had always done, but it did get too much for him in the end. He is 87.
