I decided to blip the Christmas tree today as it also shows pictures of our two boys when they they were young, still on the wall. It is probably difficult to see, but my favourite is the one at the top in the middle, which was taken by a photographer in Portsmouth, where we lived at the time.

Also, apart from the individual photos of them (Gavin, now 30, and Daniel (28 in February) they are all pictures of the two of them together and they had to pose and look as if they liked each other for the photograph! As with most siblings they are like chalk and cheese, and there was constant competition between the two of them as they were growing up. Gavin was the studious sensible one and Daniel wanted to play with him all the time, so he just used to annoy Gavin trying to get him to play with something with him until Gavin got fed up and reacted. I usually seemed to be in the middle of their fights (suppose that's what mums do) but I can (at last) see signs of them getting on, as they have lots of common interests (football, playing guitar, settled with their girlfriends, etc).

It has been a long tiring day again, so another early night very soon.

We are going to visit relatives over the next few days. Warwickshire tomorrow for 2 nights to visit my mum, brother and family, then to Gloucester to visit Nigel's Dad and Step-mum, so there will be no blips from me until 30 December or New Years day. i will carry on taking photos and read up on how to back blip for when i comeback.

Phew! Hope you all enjoy the next few days relaxing if you don't have to work until 2010 xx
