Chop chop

I really didn't want to use this.

It feels wrong.

My Dad made us two chopping boards for our Christmas presents. They're amazing. This one is a fantastic, thick, end-grain block board made of Oak and Jatoba wood (of course). It makes a lovely noise when the knife strikes it - like a tribal instrument. I love it. But it feels odd to be chopping on such a work of craftsmanship.

I've not dared to cut on the other board. And I don't think I will. Not yet anyway. I won't tell you what it is - it's a back up blip for when I need it!
