Owhiti Bay

So that's it, the last day of 2011, one that all of us in Christchurch will be glad to see the end of. Three major earthquake events, thousands of aftershocks, incredible disruption to our lives.

But most of us made it through, and I guess as they say "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Which I have to say, I think there is a certain degree of truth.

Anyway, we've dwelled on earthquakes and natural disasters far too much this year, it's time to move on!

2012 will be a great year; got a few plans and they all centre around "living". More focus on friends and family, on myself (in terms of fitness and a more healthy lifestyle) and generally making the most and being appreciative of what we have.

Like this bay and this view. No doubt it will be sold soon so this may be the last trip. So we'd better enjoy it now as much as we can!
