Scallops

Day 1 of 2012 and not a bad one. Up early to help transit some people to the airport, but we weather was too bad for flying. getting to and from the bay is a challenge. 15 minute boat trip, 45 minute drive, and 35 minutes plane to Auckland. When things go well, planes haven't been flying for 3 days.

Anyway, out in the big boat with all the kids before lunch and into Fitzroy. Dropping rubbish, buying fuel and supplies, and dropping Michael to drive down and pick up Sarah. Then out for some fishing and a dive. Ni fish but a few scallops, which Jimmy shelled when we got back.

And then a yummy seafood dinner. Snapper, crayfish and fresh scallops. Pretty nice way to start 2012!
