On our most-recent-before-this visit to Ayr there was a chance that the boy being kept up past his proper bedtime before being put to sleep in a strange cot in a non-regular room might have contributed to his failure to properly sleep, but he was here two weeks ago and we arrived well before his bedtime and he still really didn't want to go back to sleep after the third overnight wake-up. He's noticeably much more comfortable here each time we come but I don't think he's ever had a complete run of uninterrupted nights' sleeps over the course of a visit here. At least it didn't require a 4 a.m. macpacbackpack-trundle around the sleeping Ayr/Prestwick border to prevent him waking everyone else up.
