Errands completed today included the combination fetching-parcel-from-sorting-office and freeing-up-Nicky-for-an-hour during which it became apparent that the wingpiglet quite likes being the the backpack (much-appreciated loan courtesy of EcoDad) but that he seems unable to remain awake in it for more than a few minutes at a time. Errands added to the list include fishing out some weights to weigh down the Activity Cube (depicted) to enable it to be weighted down in order to allow it to function more effectively as a thing up which Edgar may haul himself to his feet. It will mean deciding which activity appears to be the most popular and which inside face will be the base, but at the moment he only seems interested in the corners of things rather than the things upon the surfaces beyond the corners.
