January

I fitted my my own washing machine
The realisation that after so many years I can actually bloody do this stuff on my own. Proud moment.


Febuary

After all my hard work..I had to do an application, a panel interview and a presentation but I did it and I got my promotion ! As it stands today I go back to work in a few days with three libraries to manage. CHUFFED. Can't wait.


March

iPad!

The iPadhasn't changed our life but we all love it. I sat up crying for hours on the night I heard Steve Jobs died. Don't know why...just one of those moments in time.

Out back at the old house, we all loved to stand there while the bats buzzed by our heads - I was amazed I managed to capture the bats. One of my best pics of the year.

Awful month, found out my mum has lung cancer and Lily's lovely grandad died suddenly. RIP Jack. You were a lovely man x

Back on the dating scene - and needing a dating profile pic. I am now OFF the dating scene.


July

I sorted out the back of the old house so we could sit in the sun. And I did on many sunny mornings. Tea, Twitter on my new cool phone and the papers.

August
Booked, paid for and delivered BY ME. ON MY OWN. Beautiful cottage in Scarborough, Lily and Sophie, my girls, Sarah...I DID THAT.

I found our home. It's beautiful. It's perfect. It's also not number 8. But still cool though.

Library Camp!

A friend on Twitter sent me some really great new music in September and I realised that I hadn't been able to listen and take pleasure in music for over a year. He changed that and I owe him EVERYTHING. Thank you TL.
