Day 4 Belem

Started the day with tropical fruits for breakfast and finished the day (so far) with tropical fruit ice cream! In-between, the school director and his wife invited us to lunch with their family in his parent's home, then took us on a tour of Belem, which included the old part of the city, the port, a beautiful bird reserve, a stop for fresh coconut milk and finally an ice cream! Lovely day, including a beautiful sunset by the river to say goodbye to the year! And it was so kind and generous of our hosts to look after us all so well on this last day of the year. Now Bb, Helen and myself are going to a restaurant 3 mins away to bring in the new year. Tomorrow a day to relax and get ready for day 1 of our course on Monday.
