Puddling about on New Year's Day

Happy New Year to everyone.

We have just had a fabulous walk for New Year's day. However, half way round the raindrops started to fall. We plodded on and were rewarded by the sight of a pair of brown hares chasing each other around a field. We didn't mind in the least getting wet as we stood and watched them for a magical few minutes.

We are home now and have rewarded ourselves with tea and chocolate and mince pies.
