Blue Skies From Now On

It was such a beautiful sunny day today, and we headed off to Ickworth House and Park. It's a National Trust property and lots of other folks had the same idea.

There was a biting wind , however, it was so refreshing to be outside and in a bit of sun. There are many, many trees at Ickworth, some really ancient ones, too.

This silhouette stood out against the amazingly blue sky. A couple of small aircraft flew overhead, in formation, and they also looked stunning against the sky.

So, work tomorrow and a pile of ironing tonight. Mr H is going to make stir fry and we shall have the remains of the New Year's Day nut roast with it. I can't wait.
