Gloomy new years day in Hamble

So here we are in 2012! I wanted to take a picture of something appropriate but with the rain I ended up jumping out of the car to take a picture on a drive through Hamble.

And anyway why should it be appropriate? For the first time in many years I have been thinking about 2012 as a fresh start with new goals but in reality everyday is a fresh start and should have new goals .. a year is only how we happen to measure the passing time.
