Away Game

Went down to Adams Park in High Wycombe today to see Worcester Warriors play Wasps - got cheap tickets from Groupon so we decided to go. Bit of a must win game for both sides as we are lurking near the bottom of the table.

It started raining just as we got to the ground, so by the time the game kicked off, everything was very soggy and the pitch was like a skating rink, players sliding all over the place.

Not what you'd call a classic, but we won 0-6 - and hung on to keep the lead under some pressure at the end. Some great chanting from a group of Warriors supporters in the terraces - we walked over that way after the game finished and hung about until the players came over to say thanks to the fans.

The player you can see in this blip is Chris Pennell, Warrior's captain, really nice guy - he spent ages chatting to people even though he must have been keen to get inside in the warm and dry.

Very glad to be home in the warm ourselves now after an hour and a half drive home in the rain.
