How far?

Last day off, back to work tomorrow - I've had a lovely 10 days off and haven't got up before 9 am once so the 5.30 am alarm call is going to be horrendous tomorrow morning.

Did some decluttering and tidying up this morning - part of my 2012 plans to be more organised, not sure how long that will last but I'm going to give it a go. Needed some fresh air after that, so we went into Stratford on Avon for a walk round by the river before it got dark.

Took a few photos, including this one of the river just to the left of the RSC buildings and this one of some of the oldest buildings in the town.

Love these distance signs for the canal boaters - not sure if you can read them but it shows the miles, number of locks and hours to travel to London, Birmingham, York and Liverpool. Birmingham (which is only about an hour away by car) is something like 54 locks and 23 hours to do the 25 or so miles on the canal. You must have to have some patience to be a boater, I'd better not take it up!
