The Annual Xmas Tree Hunt

Every year we drive about an hour away to pick out our Christmas Trees. My husband doesn't understand why our family insists on going way out of the way to the perfect tree farm, but I think he secretly enjoys the tradition. Here we are, the long shadows of the family on a very sunny December morning.

It is one of my most favorite days of the year.
