Christmas Tree

At midnight I was so into the moment, surrounded by 15 of my closest friends, glorious food, riotous noisemakers, crazy laughter, that I totally forgot that my camera was right at my side. I guess it's OK that I lived the moment when 2012 started rather than documenting it. I took this picture earlier in the day before the salmon was poached.
