Half Moon

A beautiful start for the year. The sky is an intense blue and warm enough that no jacket is needed for a walk in the bosque. I got up close to three cranes hoping I would spook them into flight nut they just yelled at me and continued to eat their corn. The sound of the Rio grande River was very soothing as Joseph silently showed me the beginning Tai Chi stance. The naked cottonwoods stand stark against the southwest light. Then I spotted the moon.
