Today I helped Dad on his house a bit, which meant a very early start (well, 7:45 am) but set me up well for the day. I was up there painting the garage doors so that they're weatherproof, and don't warp any more than they have already! Had a nice break for coffee mid-morning and looked through some of Grandpa's old photos, which was really interesting. Dad's going to come by later so we can look at more over a curry.

The weather has been spectacular - huge clouds rolling by from the west delivering heavy showers (some sleet) before clearing to bright sky again. The sunrise was amazing, as a cloud like this one was lit from behind and took on an amazing orange hue, glowing from within as it glided eastwards.

Went out on a ride this afternoon in such a break and took lots of potential photos, but this one sums up the day pretty nicely. I also like the tree.
