366: A new year

The first day of the year. We stayed up until 5am partying at Jonathan's, and consequently it was midday before we got up today...but when we DID get up, what a feast! Full cooked breakfast, which was a mistake as New Year's Day lunch was served at 5pm! This is the eton mess before it collapsed - we had jelly, cheesecake and crumble as well to go with the venison which miraculously appeared in amounts copious enough to serve the 20 guests.

Thank you for all your kind comments yesterday! Hopefully I'll carry on for another year, but for now that gold camera is fantastic :)
