Edale Cross

Set back from a popular path in the Peak District is this medieval cross. I've run this path dozens of times and only noticed it today because i stopped to tie my shoelace. It's celtic cross that has been there for about 850 years. That is staggering. 850 years just sat there.

When they say is history is all around you, they're not wrong.
