The Bench
Our friend B was happy enough to look after L and A for a while so I went for a walk all by myself this morning. I should really resurrect my mp3 player, it would have been nice to listen to my Christmas present CD on the way up there but never mind, another time.
I walked up Blackford Hill, at the top the wind was so strong that my camera was shaking so I'm impressed this blip isn't too wobbly. I was able to lean against the wind in order to text and just enjoy the view from the top. I love looking at Edinburgh from up here. Some luxury yacht looked like it was moored right next to the castle (it was probably moving but I couldn't stay long enough, it was too cold).
Still mulling over some of my New Year Ideas and the result of the evening class still bugs me but I have to use it as a basis for trying harder and better. Still struggling with the cold so that doesn't help either.
