Uprooted

This tree fell over Newbattle Terrace, blocking it completely. Luckily there are roads either side of it so it isn't difficult for cars to turn. Quite a few cars stayed to watch. It is strange when big trees such as this one fall over. They are still impressive but obviously not where they belong.

Soon it will be cut up no doubt but it is probably not the only tree that has fallen in today's storms.

Earlier I had blipped a piece of roof insulation dancing in the street. I'll try to link to it later.
