Morocco Trip day 5 - Head to the hills

We were woken up nice and early and thrown on a coach to head South to all we were told was the hills to the South.

First we visited some irrigation projects in the farm lands and then it was South. We soon saw a range of Moutntains looming and plunged into them via a valley which got narrower and steeper and then the car wrecks in the river began to aprear and we got scared. The tarmac then stopped and after a few more mile the end of the road was upon us at a track.

We were met by a fleet of donkeys who were laiden with our bags and then we set off up through the walnut trees to a casbah on the hill Dimitris and I head off first and I took this pic half way up.

The casbah was amazing you can see their website here and we we recieved a warm welcome and stunning views which my old camera could not do justice. It was cool but sunny and we had a wee look round the area before sitting down to an amazing meal.
