River high
Having a lot of weather in these parts again, not as bad as further north.
I got an early finish today in exchange for some work on my day off Friday. I set off in full body cover for a run on the moor. The sun was shining as I went down the garden path, it clouded over going up the drive, and the hail arrived as I crossed the road. I hadn't figured for the hail and combined with strong winds up on the moor it was pretty painful. I returned after 15mins a bit worse for wear. I even wondered if this was the first time that I regretted going for a run - ever.
Had to pick up the youngest to taxi him around after school activities and went down to the Wharfe which was pretty perky today with all the rain. I've got one photo with the bench at the top of the bank engufled in river.
I liked this one though as it caught something of the motion. Reverting back to panorama frame to accentuate the movement.
PS despite the cold and pain and shortened run, I looked in the mirror and I look about a decade younger, the hard driven hail in my face has effected an impressive dermabrasion, even my smile lines seem to have had a mild dose of botox - so not all bad....
