Room Without A View

Aiding patient recovery. This is the view you get from one of the wards at a brand new Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Quite how this is intended to inspire patient recovery is quite beyond me.

The more I see of the facility the more I am convinced that yet again public money is being used to buy facilities that are mediocre, utilitarian, merely functional but most definately not inspiring nor designed with a view to aiding patient recovery. The facility is located on a site which would have super views of hills and woodland - but not from the wards that look out onto a bleak couryard. Ah well, at least the medical services inside the hospital were much better.
