History

It was my day off today, but I took Grace to a neighbouring village to see some of the children from our school taking part in a living history drama project based around the lead miners' strike in the village in 1849. I'm History Subject Leader, but this project had been organised when I was on Maternity Leave by a colleague of mine. It was a lot of fun! Over the next couple of days, they are going to create a film , which will be shown back in school. I'm so grateful to my colleague for taking this on and liaising with the drama group.
