Lairds Loch

Took a quick drive up to Lairds Loch with Pesky Princess and took some shots of the damage caused by the storm yesterday. Boats that are normally keel up by the side of the loch had been flipped into the water, blown down the right hand side of the loch and sunk. Just my luck that I didn't have time to wander down, nor my wellies.

Place is a blip goldmine at the moment, so i know where I'll be heading for more shots, especially when it gets colder and the loch freezes again. With the warm weather we've had the last week or so, the loch has defrosted. Should get some interesting pictures of the boats if it freezes before people are up there dragging them up.

This shot shows one of the fishing piers that has been smashed and submerged. Not sure if the place is actually being let out for fishing now, as didn't see any boats out last year, just lots of eastern europeans poaching, and the boat house is all smashed up (no door or windows).
