All safely gathered in.

I so wish I could leave the decorations and lights up all year round. I once read that Russel Grant did that but I don't know if he still does or ever did for that matter.

Bit of news on the lost roof. It didn't end up next door as I suspected. The man from next door said that he heard it and it went over his conservatory into their neighbour's garden on the other side.

I haven't managed to talk to them yet but I have known them almost all my life as apart from my mum this other neighbour has been in the road from the time the houses were first built.

She had only been round to see us that day to wish us all the best and this happens.

Will try and pop round tomorrow and check how things are.

I am still stunned and thankful that the roof didn't hit next door's conservatory but how it managed to miss it when it's virtually right next to it I can't imagine.
