Thoughtful present

I didn't get much for Christmas - I don't have a large family and, to be honest, the things I would like are rather out of Christmas present league!!

This was given to me by my proxy parents (they do the parenty bits my mum and dad WOULD do if they lived closer). The cover is beautiful and it's almost too good to write in.

The card says "To store happy memories and experiences to revisit on dull days" We could all do to remember the good things. So often it's the bad memories that stick.

So a New Year's resolution is to give thanks for the good and not dwell on the bad.
