burn baby burn

it's been a bizarre day today of getting the house back to normal, taking the christmas tree down...and it all being a bit drab. I put some more fairy lights up to compensate...ease us back in gently.

but the best thing that happened today was that beefy installed his wee wood burner into the cineshed. it's ace ~ really toasty even in this crappy weather and he's so pleased with it. so we ended up in there watching films a lot with the kids and beth's pal iona (who I get the feeling thinks we're mental).

we also had a particularly good game of hide and seek, just so you know...
