the piano man

It's tradition...New Year's day at my in-laws...pork and sauerkraut dinner, (suppose to bring good luck for the new year), followed up by our family portrait for the year which is always hysterical, ( you got to be there to understand).

This is a photo of my father-in-law playing his piano as we settle down for the evening. I noticed the photo's on the top of his piano, his family, his world, and I got to thinking how grateful I am to be one of those people in one of the photo's, one of those who are a part of his world.

...and it made me smile...
