Nature Air

If you weren't up for travelling over to Tambor by ferry, then you could always opt for a quick flight from San José.

Right next to our hotel is Tambor (Domestic) Airport- which comprises of nothing more than a landing strip, wind sock, and a bus plane shelter.

Both Nature Air and SANSA operate flights here from the Costa Rican captial.

14:00 to 15:00 is the peak time for traffic here, with a whole 6 flights in the space of an hour - 3 take offs and 3 landings.

I spent my afternoon at the edge of the runway snapping away to my heart's content- I did think about lying down in the sand as the planes fly in overhead but I'm saving that for later in the week - can't have too much fun at once now can I!?
