Day 8 - Rotorua

Travelled down from Tairua to spend two nights in Rotorua.

There is a geothermal area just on the edge of lake Rotorua at the top of the town. The thermal activity turns the water a milky white colour and there are areas on the shoreline that bubble away nicely.
The warning signs are to stop you venturing onto areas that have a thin crystalline crust only 20mm thick. There's a chance you could fall through into the molten mud below.
