Day 9 - Rotorua

Had the whole day in Rotorua, most of it spent at the Whakarewarewa Thermal Village. It's a living Maori village located on top of a very active geothermal area.
The image is of the geysers located at the back of the village. If phone cameras have one major problem, it's coping with contrasty scenes.

Had a nice lunch of corn on the cob cooked in one of the thermal pools.
