The cat (taken with the Pentax 50mm lens at f1.7), who has been eating loads and going out a lot more than normal, relaxing after his evening prowl.

First day back at work was a bit of a grind, having had very little sleep, and I began to get a tickly cough and a spasmy neck towards the end of the afternoon. More the due to air conditioning and having to sit in an uncomfortable chair after so long away. Still hot toddies were the order of the day.

After being surprised to find that the Newcastle Utd. vs Manchester Utd. game was not live on Radio 5 we were pleased to find an online stream of Talk Radio that was carrying it. Even more surprised to find that in the end we won 3-0! A bit too much celebrating went on after that, including the opening of a bottle of champers that was languishing unloved in the fridge from xmas and I will regret all of it tomorrow.
