Captain Barnacles

It's that time of year again.... As I write Mr K is taking down all the decorations and, I suspect, long after I've finished writing and am tucked up snug in our bed, ha ha!!!
It always makes me sad to see it all go - the house looks so bare and drab without it! But I can look forward to getting it all out again in December and perhaps adding lots a few more treasures to the collection!
I thought I'd blip Captain Barnacles for posterity. I find him rather sanctimonious and irritating but the Little Misses seem to like him. Miss L is particularly fond of this toy, spending hours putting him to bed in the doll's house!
Sound the Octo-Alert, I'm going to bed....
