Resolve

We went to the Audubon Grill to work on our goals for the coming year. We talked, envisioned, reflected, speculated and managed a few goals.

Afterward we made out grand return to our lovely Anglican community that's gone rather neglected in the wake of study and work... It was warm and lovely to be there. We were only met with a couple of jarring, "It's been SO long..." naturally, these words were said with affection and love, but perhaps a strong hug would suffice.

The whole thing reminds me a bit of J and me discussing what would help me flip my cynical brain to a more optimistic and hopeful flight, and I responded rather tongue in cheek, "if all the people wouldn't bother me."
