The view of the valley

The best thing about this fabulous view is that it is different every day, but remains one of my absolute favorite views. It was another beautiful day, our last day of holiday in our Italian paradise. Tomorrow we head back to the real world, and although none of us will admit it, it will be good to get back. Part of what makes a holiday special is that it is not the norm, right?

Nothing much else exciting happened today, but that was part of the plan for this winter break.... our stated primary goal was to 'Do Nothing.' and then.... 'Do More Nothing'. While we didn't exactly do absolutely nothing, we did manage many days of very low recorded accomplishments.... and accomplished the task of recharging our internal batteries in the process.
