The Oil Fields

Seeing as today was our 'Sunday' (Saudi's weekend is Thurs and Fri), we took a drive through the oil fields. It's not a pretty sight, just miles of bright white sand and 'nodding donkeys' at work here and there and then the ugly pipes pumping the oil to the refinery.

Had to stop of and spend time with the flamingos just to see something pretty after the blandness of the desert. Wasn't disappointed as usual. Glad the rest of the desert is beautiful.
